What areas do you cover?

We currently cover all Leeds postcodes, and some postcodes in Harrogate, York and Wakefield. We are an independent company, and restricting our area ensures we can respond properly to any emergencies fast.


Is your contact centre in the UK?

Absolutely- you can contact us directly in Leeds, UK to ask any questions or book a repair


I'm moving from a different provider, how soon does my cover start?

If you're moving to reliaboil from a different provider and have no gap in service, you will get instant support from us. Access to being able to book repairs may be restricted for 14 days if you have had a break in service.


I've never had boiler cover before, how soon does my cover start?

If you are joining a service plan for the first time you will be able to access all support and book repairs after 14 days.

Do you use your own engineers to carry out the servicing and repairs?

Mostly, yes. We are a local company employing local engineers, but do sometimes use carefully vetted contractors and Major Boiler Manufacturers if that is the fastest way to get your home cosy again.


How do you check your engineers?

We hold ourselves to the highest standard, we:

Audit repairs and services when completed- youll see your engineer documenting their work electronically and with photos.

Check valid and appropriate levels of Public Liability Insurance

Inspect trade qualifications, eg Gas Safe Register, to ensure they are appropriate and up to date

Inspect certain equipment to ensure correct calibration

Ensure all Health and Safety rules are followed, including current COVID guidelines


What happens when I sign up?

Welcome! You'll receive an email containing your Welcome Pack, including your customer number, details of your address and plan chosen, and a quick questionnaire. Please complete as much of this as possible, as it will speed up our ability to deal with any future repairs.


How long is the Agreement?

Our Agreement is for a minimum of 12 Months from your start date, so you are only committed for one year at a time.

You will receive an email 30 days prior to the end of your Fixed Price Plan, advising you of your renewal price. Please ensure your email address is up to date- check spam filters allow contact from us. If no correspondence is recieved from you within those 30 days your contract will auto renew for another 12 months. If you are happy for the renewal to go ahead, you don't need to do anything. Do you charge a call out fee?

You can choose a plan with our without a call out fee per repair- choosing one with a call out will lower your monthly charge, but you will need to pay the fixed fee each time you book a repair. No fee is charged for your annual boiler service

Boiler Servicing


When will you service my boiler?

Your free annual boiler service will be carried out between March and September within the period of your plan, ensuring maximum availability to urgent and emergency boiler breakdowns when they are most likely.

We will contact you to arrange your annual boiler service to arrange a suitable time to attend. Unlike some companies, your support and ability to book a repair will not be restricted before your boiler service has been carried out.


Will you service my boiler properly?

Of course! We carry out all our free boiler services to the manufacturers instructions. This will include cleaning and servicing your magnetic filter (if you have one), and any parts required as part of the regular servicing requirement.


Do I need to have my boiler serviced before I become a member?

No- we do ask that your boiler and central heating are in good working order without pre-existing faults when you join the plan.


Do you need to inspect my boiler before i join?

No- you are confirming that your boiler and central heating are in good condition without pre-existing faults at the time of signing up.


What if I have a problem with my boiler or central heating and i want to become a member?

Give us a call and we'll go through your options. Not all problems are created equally.

My Boiler


My boiler is ancient- will you still repair it?

Of course- we can maintain and repair any age of natural gas powered boiler, as long as its in good working order when you become a member.


What happens if you can't repair my boiler?

As long as your boiler was in good working condition when you signed up, its unlikely we'll be unable to repair it. Should that be the cased, and your boiler is under 7 years old, and deemed to beyond economical repair, we will replace it up to a maximum cost of £2500. If your boiler is older than this, we may be able to offer a discounted replacement boiler as part of a renewed 12 month service agreement.


Do you cover all makes and models of boilers?

We can service and repair all natural gas domestic boilers under 70kw, with the exception of Chaffoteaux eand Elm Le Blanc. If you have one of these appliances, please call us on 0113 5848242.

Currently we cannot service or repair solid fuel boilers, LPG boilers, oil boilers or commercial boilers over 70kw


Will you include my Potterton Powermax?

Yes, we can service and repair your powermax, as long as any models manufactured between 2001- Nov 2005 have had the required flue upgrade as per the manufacturers Safety Alert (number 013). If you are unsure, or have any questions please call us on 0113 5348242.


Will you include my back boiler?

Yes, we will service and repair your back boiler, although it should be noted that many appliances are now 'obsolete', which may affect its repairability


Will you include my LPG (bottled gas) boiler?

We don't currently offer our boiler service and repair plans on LPG boilers


Will you include my Oil boiler?

We don't currently offer our boiler service and repair plans on Oil boilers


Will you include my floor standing boiler?

Yes, we service and repair floor standing and wall hung boilers


Will you include my Unvented Hot Water Cylinder?

Yes, we service and repair Unvented Hot Water Cylinders- you will need to choose either the Central Heating Plan or the Home Plan, and give us the required information in your Welcome Pack. All engineers carrying out this work will hold the UHWSS qualification (G3)
